	BILLBOARD calls Ancient Future "trendsetters" for contributing to the movement for world fusion music, a term band leader Matthew Montfort coined before the band's inception in 1978 for music that blends musical ideas from many different cultures.
	Ancient Future is the world's first and longest running ensemble dedicated exclusively to the mission of the creation of world fusion music.
	Over the years, Ancient Future has grown to become a large chamber ensemble of over 25 noted masters of various world music traditions with over a dozen smaller ensembles within it.
	Traditional music from the cultures of these master musicians is also presented, providing an educational experience that excites people about ancient traditions and then shows how they can make contemporary culture richer.
